The Lucina Centre houses two beautiful birthing rooms and a cross-section of health care providers. The first combined birth and wellness centre in Canada, we are delighted to offer women and families a broad array of possibilities at one location.
The Lucina Centre offers:
- A full scope of natural, sensitive midwifery care with qualified registered midwives
- Birthing rooms equipped with birthing tubs for water birth
- Choices for care by registered practitioners including massage therapists, acupuncturists, psychologist, nurse practitioner, naturopathic doctor, and hypnotherapist
- Education for parents including prenatal classes and breast feeding
- Workshops such as pre and post natal fitness, yoga, pilates, baby photography, baby and labour massage, hypnobirthing, and baby wearing
- Opportunities for rental space for workshops and events
