Birth and Breakfast

With the Westview Health Centre in Stony Plain closing its maternity ward (after 10 years and thousands of deliveries) we decided to open a freestanding birth centre in the West end of Edmonton.  Registered midwives can now continue to offer families water birth in one of our lovely birthing rooms.  

The Birth Centre has 2 large rooms with comfortable birthing tubs, shower, birth balls and other equipment to facilitate a natural birth in a peaceful environment. 

The birth rooms are in the north wing of the building, separate from our wellness clinics and with it's own entrance. 

A scrumptious breakfast will be served to the parents after the birth to replenish energy and to celebrate the unique event that birth is. You are welcome to bring in a birthday cake that we can store in our large walk-in cooler.
